Syllabus
Blockchain is a technology that fascinates as much as it intimidates — especially as it has rapidly become mainstream. This course is designed to demystify the core mechanisms behind blockchain, following a clear chronological approach starting from its origins in 2008 (and a bit before). Participants will explore the fundamental concepts step by step and gain insight into the wide range of blockchain applications, including (but not limited to) cryptocurrencies. No prior knowledge is required — this course is meant to make blockchain accessible, understandable, and relevant for anyone curious about the technology behind the buzz.
By the end of the training, participants will:

understand the history and current real-world uses of blockchain;

grasp the strengths and limitations of the blockchain structure;

be familiar with ongoing research and future directions in the field.
Language
The training is provided in French by default but it is possible to open sessions in English. Let us know if you are interested.
Duration and location
1 day in our office in Paris or directly on-site.
Pre-requisites
Very basic background in computer science & maths. Participants can have no background in cryptography.
